This “Smoked Salmon with Mustard and Dill Yoghurt and a Crisp and Buttery Ciabatta” recipe is another super quick and easy recipe that tastes cookin’ awesome!
This recipe is also tagged as healthy because you simply need to replace the buttery ciabatta bread and it’s a low-fat treat great on salads or in wholemeal tortilla wraps. The salmon and yoghurt itself contains only the healthy fats such as omega 3’s in the salmon, and the pro-biotics in the yoghurt.
This recipe was loosely inspired by the Sourdough Toast Skagen dish, which has a great combination of flavours! Using Greek Yoghurt is a great substitute for mayonnaise for the health conscious and mustard tastes amazing with salmon!
Be sure to gently toast the ciabatta so the butter doesn’t burn, keep the temperature fairly low once the butter has melted. You want a nice golden crust on the surface of the bread to spread the heavenly salmon and yoghurt mixture on top.
This dish once again shows that great food doesn’t have to be difficult!
